Who Am I?
About Me & My Story

Hi I am Jackie, I grew up in South Africa, where I began dancing at the age of 4.
I attended the National School of Art, Ballet, Music, and Drama and danced for PACT Ballet. My training at the school was academic and holistic, focusing not just on dance technique but also on music, anatomy, and physiology—essential for understanding every aspect of the body.
As a young child, I struggled with SED now known as (Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder), anorexia, and the pressures that come from society and ourselves to look, feel, and behave a certain way. I learned early on that the mind holds immense power, both in recovery and in shaping our lives. Exercise played a key role in my journey, but so did significant work on understanding and accepting myself.

I am passionate about supporting people and fully believe that no matter what we are experiencing in life, with the right support, we can overcome it and allow ourselves to move forward. I blend my therapeutic modalities, ensuring that I provide the best support for each person who walks into my practice. By combining hypnotherapy, conversational hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, and evidence-based approaches, I am able to tap into all aspects of a person and provide holistic therapy that truly wraps around each client, offering a transformational experience.
What I Do
I specialise in working with children, young adults, and adults, helping them navigate a range of challenges, including but not limited to:
Psychotherapy and Mental Well-being
Supporting children, young adults, and adults with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, low self-esteem, and more.
Eating Disorders and Disordered Eating
Helping those struggling with ARFID, anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and other eating challenges.
Trauma Recovery
Providing healing and tools to work through sexual abuse, domestic violence, workplace bullying, harassment, and other traumatic experiences.
Hypnotherapy
Using hypnotherapy to support individuals dealing with anxiety, phobias, trauma, panic attacks, and overcoming mental blocks.
Neurodivergence
Supporting individuals with autism, ADHD, PDA, and other neurodivergent conditions, helping them thrive in their daily lives.
My approach is holistic, focusing on mind, body, and soul, using evidence-based modalities as well as person-centred approaches.
By addressing mental health challenges and physical well-being together, I help people develop stronger self-awareness and resilience.

A Holistic Approach to Healing
In addition to my psychotherapy and hypnotherapy qualifications, I have trained in sports psychology, trauma recovery, and neurodivergence support.
My approach is always holistic, supporting the mind, body, and spirit. I understand that mental health is deeply connected to physical health, and I use this knowledge to help children, young people, and adults make lasting, meaningful changes in their lives.
Soul Therapy Values
My therapeutic practice is built on the values of empowerment, authenticity, and holistic care. I am dedicated to helping you reconnect with your true self, process trauma, and overcome the obstacles that hold you back. I believe that genuine healing begins with fully accepting who we are—free from fear, shame, or expectations—and that transformation happens when the body, mind, and soul are in balance. With compassionate, ethical, and tailored care, I offer a safe space for individuals and children alike to explore their strengths, embrace their individuality, and build lasting confidence.

Empowerment
I help you reconnect with your true self, process trauma, and release blocks so that you can move forward and step into your power.

Authenticity
I believe that healing begins when we fully accept who we truly are—releasing fear, shame, or expectations.

Compassionate Support
You deserve a safe space to heal, be heard, and know you are valid and not alone.

Holistic Therapy
True transformation happens when the body, mind, and soul are in balance. I tailor my therapy modalities to provide you the transformation and support you are looking for.

Ethical & Tailored Care
I believe therapy should be evidence-based and holistic in its approach while ensuring it’s professional and shaped around you.

Confidence Building
I believe in nurturing children's self-belief by creating a supportive space where they can explore their strengths, embrace their individuality, and develop the confidence to face challenges.
